This rally is being organized by Armenian cab companies outraged over Santa Monica’s recent attempt to exclude them from operating in the city. Fueling their discontent is the lack of transparency and latent discrimination permeating the process.

Coinciding with the demonstration is a City CouncilĀ  public hearing scheduled to consider the issuing of taxi franchises in Santa Monica.

The AYF calls on the community to stand by the taxi workers in their struggle.
