Brief Background
The Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) is an Armenian youth movement founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1933 by Armenian national hero Karekin Njdeh. It serves as the youth organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
With a history spanning more than 75 years, the AYF remains the largest and most active Armenian-American youth organization in the United States.

Aims and Purpose of the AYF
The Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) strives to advance the goals of a free, independent and united Armenia. Toward these ends, the AYF is dedicated to the principles of freedom, democracy, self-determination, economic justice, and social equality.
The AYF is committed to the moral, social and intellectual advancement of Armenian youth in order that they may gain a better understanding of themselves. It is guided in these aims through its five long standing pillars of Political, Cultural, Educational, Athletic, and Social activity.
