AYF Protests to End the Cycle of Genocide
On the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide the Armenian Youth Federation rallied the community in protest, demanding the United States and Turkish governments officially recognize the Genocide. Demonstrators were rallying for justice for the 1.5 million Armenians slaughtered at the hands of Ottoman Turks, in the form of reparations and official recognition owed to the Armenian people.

Cycle Against Denial on April 29th!
On April 29, 2012 the AYF San Fernando Valley “Sardarabad” Chapter will be hosting the 4th annual “Cycle Against Denial”. This annual bike-a-thon circles over ten miles beginning and ending at Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church (5300 White Oak Ave. Encino, Ca). Please join us to raise awareness about the first genocide of the 20th century in which the Ottoman Empire massacred over 1.5 million Armenians in 1915.
South Bay AYF Hosts Annual Genocide Museum
Torrance, CA- The Armenian Youth Federation’s South Bay “Potorig” Chapter will host its second annual Armenian Genocide Museum on Thursday April 12th at 5:30 PM at the South Bay Armenian Center (2222 Lomita Blvd. Lomita, Ca 90717). In its inaugural year last year the event showcased important information about the Armenian Genocide and exposed to the non-Armenian South Bay community the atrocities of the Genocide.
