AYF Summer Camp
Each year Armenian youth from all over the United States and Canada make AYF Summer camp an integral part of their summer agenda. Established in 1977, the camp provides a one-of-a-kind atmosphere for young Armenians to bond, become better acquainted with their culture, and participate in a wide array of social and athletic activities.
Haytoug
Created in 1978, Haytoug is the official publication of the AYF-Western Region. It is produced quarterly, distributed free of charge, and open to all Armenian youth who wish to express their views on a variety of social, cultural, and political issues pertinent to our community.
Little Armenia Beautification Project
Following the official designation of the Little Armenia district of Los Angeles in 2000, the AYF has taken upon itself to consistently show its gratitude and ensure that the area remain clean and presentable. Working in conjunction with Councilmember Eric Garcetti’s office, hundreds of volunteers have come together every year since 2003 to revitalize the streets of this densely populated district of East Hollywood.
‘Nanor Krikorian’ Memorial Scholarship
The Armenian Youth Federation’s “Nanor Krikorian” Memorial Scholarship was established in March of 2003 in memory of AYF member Nanor Krikorian, whose life was cut short because of cancer. This Armenian scholarship awards graduating high school seniors of Armenian descent scholarships for furthering their education.
Youth Corps
The AYF Youth Corps program, established in 1994, gives dedicated individuals a unique opportunity to spend approximately six weeks in Armenia, working with people on the ground to make a tangible contribution to the homeland.
